Patricia A. Lynn-Ford, Esq.
Patricia A. Lynn-Ford joined the Lynn Law Firm in 1989, after four years of private practice with two large law firms in New York City, where she handled commercial and insurance defense litigation.
For over two decades, Ms. Lynn-Ford has successfully handled a wide variety of challenging insurance coverage claims on behalf of individuals and businesses. The positive results are due to well-developed litigation strategy, attention to detail and thorough preparation. Clients are given candid advice, and prepared for the process of pursing coverage enforcement through litigation. She advocates for clients seeking enforcement of insurance coverage and who may also have been victims of unfair or deceptive claims handling by their insurance companies.
Ms. Lynn-Ford is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law (J.D. 1985) and the College of the Holy Cross (B.A. cum laude 1982). In 2003, she was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an internationally recognized association of U.S. and Canadian trial attorneys nominated by their peers as representing the top one percent of trial attorneys in their state or province, in areas of trial skills and ethics. Ms. Lynn-Ford has been an active member of this organization, serving a two-year term as Upstate New York Chair, and as a member of the Upstate New York State Committee. Ms. Lynn-Ford has been consistently rated for over 20 years as “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, representing the highest rating for competency and ethics. She has been a frequent lecturer on trial practice topics for the New York State Bar Association. She has authored Evidence Survey articles for Syracuse University Law Review for the years 2013, 2014, and 2016 and has co-authored the New York State Bar Association, Insurance Law Practice, Third Edition, Chapter 13, “Claims Made Coverage Issues” (2016). She has been a member of Super Lawyers Registry since 2009 and was recently admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Lynn-Ford has been an active community member, serving as an officer or board member of various charitable organizations.
