Kaitlyn M. Guptill

Kaitlyn has quickly amassed exceptional experience in plaintiff’s insurance coverage and personal injury litigation.  Since joining the Lynn Law Firm she has leveraged her litigation experience at the trial and appellate levels to find practical and effective solutions for the firm’s clients.

Kaitlyn had the unusual distinction of serving the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office as both a felony trial prosecutor and appellate attorney.  Her experience in this dual capacity provided a deep perspective regarding best practices and strategic decision making.  She holds a certification in Child Abuse Interviewing Skills Training, ensuring the integrity, sensitivity, and developmentally appropriate interviews of victims of physical or sexual abuse.  Her training and experience in this vulnerable area allows her to aggressively pursue civil justice against entities and perpetrators of abuse.

Kaitlyn presently serves as the Treasurer on the Executive Board of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association.  In 2024, she won the Central New York Women’s Bar Association Beacon Award, presented to an attorney who has made outstanding contributions with the community and has encouraged new lawyers to become contributions to their profession and community and showed them how to do so.  Her knowledge and presence are valued in the law enforcement community, as she continues to present as a New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services instructor in the Syracuse Police and Onondaga County Sheriff’s police academies.  Kaitlyn grew up on her family’s fourth generation dairy farm in South Onondaga, working alongside her family, and remains supportive and understanding of the challenges of agriculture today.
